According to the Stat. of Sep. 2002, Germany import quantity of canned pear has increased than last year same as period.

The Stat. appeared that the averaged price of Germany import canned pear has been higher than before. It was EUR692.9/ton during early 3 season of 2002, but it was EUR428.5/ton during last year same as period.

Germany total import quantity of canned pear reduced 25% in early 3 season of 2002, it was 1.21 million cartons .The export quantity of Italy & South Africa reduced obviously. They reduced 20% and 57%.

Some expert estimated: China will be better in Germany canned pear market in future.
